Railway Main Workshop in Istvántelek was once one of the most important railway vehicle repair shops in Hungary. The main workshop in Istvántelek, Budapest IV. district (Újpest) is located in a part of the city district, occupying roughly half of the former. The former glory can only be imagined today, much of the halls have been demolished; what not, there the weeds proliferate.
