Załęska Hałda-Brynów (full name: Załęska Hałda-Brynów część zachodnia) is a district of Katowice, located in the western part of the city. It lies between the A4 motorway and the Kłodnica river, within the area of four historical parts of Katowice: Załęska Hałda, Brynów, Stara Ligota, and Katowicka Hałda. Until the beginning of the 19th century, the present-day district was used for agriculture.
