The Nordvorstadt (German pronunciation: [ˈnɔʁtfoːɐ̯ˌʃtat] , lit. 'Northern Vorstadt') in Leipzig in Germany is an area north of the city center and belongs to the borough (Stadtbezirk) of Leipzig-Mitte. The designation is not official. The Nordvorstadt stretches from the Inner City Ring Road to the boundaries of the former villages and today's Leipzig localities of Gohlis and Eutritzsch.
